     John Leyland Feilden was born on 29 September 1821 at Pleasington, Lancashire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. and Mary Haughton Jackson.³ He married, firstly, Eliza Whigham Kennedy, daughter of James Kennedy and Jean Brown, on 8 October 1851 at St. Mary, St. Denys and St. George, Manchester, Lancashire, England.^1,2 He married, secondly, Charlotte Isabella Collin, daughter of Peter Collin, on 31 October 1894.¹ He died on 12 March 1915 at age 93 at Newent, Gloucestershire, England.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.¹

     From 8 October 1851, her married name became Feilden.

     Mary Haughton Feilden was born on 26 June 1800 at Jamaica.² She was the daughter of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. and Mary Haughton Jackson.³ She married Reverend John William Whittaker on 20 June 1825.¹ She died on 30 November 1871 at age 71 at Riverslea House, Southport, Lancashire, England.^1,2
     From 20 June 1825, her married name became Whittaker.¹

     Daniel Willis was the son of Richard Willis. He married Georgiana Amelia Feilden, daughter of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. and Mary Haughton Jackson, on 20 June 1831.¹ He died on 15 April 1873.¹

     Frances Eliza Feilden was born on 29 March 1809 at Blackburn, Lancashire, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Sir William Feilden, 1st Bt. and Mary Haughton Jackson.³ She married, firstly, Andrew Hamilton on 2 April 1842 at Feniscowles, Lancashire, England.^1,2 She married, secondly, John Ranking on 14 January 1868.¹ She died on 17 November 1889 at age 80.¹
     From 2 April 1842, her married name became Hamilton. From 14 January 1868, her married name became Ranking.¹
