     David Cuningham, 2nd of Robertland was born after 1526.1 He was the son of David Cuninghame, 1st of Robertland and Margaret Cuninghame.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Cunningham, daughter of Sir William Cunningham of Glengarnock and Elizabeth Helen Sinclair.1 He married, secondly, Grizel Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton, 1st of Stonehouse and Grizel Sempill, in March 1555/56.1 He died circa 1 December 1592.1

     Her married name became Shaw.4 Her married name became Cuningham. Her married name became Schaw.1

     Sir David Cuningham of Robertland was born after 1574.1 He was the son of David Cuningham, 2nd of Robertland and Elizabeth Cunningham.2 He married Jean Cuninghame, daughter of Alexander Cuninghame of Aiket.1 He died circa 18 December 1607.1
     On 30 April 1566 he was granted a charter of Hoilhouse.1 He also had two daughters.1

     Sir David Cuningham was the son of Sir David Cuningham of Robertland and Jean Cuninghame.2 He married Margaret Fleming, daughter of Patrick Fleming.1 He died in April 1619.1
     In 1607 he was retoured heir to his father and grandfather.1 In 1614 he had charter of Glengarnock.1 He lived at Robertland, Stewarton, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1 He had two other sons.1

Sir David Cuningham of Robertland, 1st Bt.1

     Sir David Cuningham of Robertland, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir David Cuningham and Margaret Fleming.2 He and Elizabeth Joyce obtained a marriage license on 8 June 1637.1 He died between 8 October 1661 and November 1671.1
     He was Master of the Horse to King James VI.1 In 1619 he was served heir general of his father.1 In 1628 he was served heir special in Robertland, Glengarnock, etc.1 He was created 1st Baronet Cuningham, of Robertland, co. Ayr [Nova Scotia] on 25 November 1630, with special remainder to heirs male whatsoever.1
