     Alicia Charlotte Rice was born in 1880.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Cecil Rice and Frances Anne Napier.¹ She died on 8 May 1955, unmarried.¹

     Beryl Marion Durand was born on 27 July 1887.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Sir Edward Law Durand, 1st Bt. and Maude Ellen Heber-Percy.^2,1 She married Captain Wilfred Pollen Haviland, son of Reverend Arthur Coles Haviland, on 13 October 1915.¹ She died on 15 July 1977 at age 89.¹
     From 13 October 1915, her married name became Haviland.

     Hugo I van Voorne Heer van Heenvliet was born in 1205.¹ He was the son of Diederik II Herr van Voorne Burggraf van Zeeland and Alverade van Cuyk.¹ He married Justine van Heeze.¹ He died in 1275.¹

     Captain Wilfred Pollen Haviland was the son of Reverend Arthur Coles Haviland.² He married Beryl Marion Durand, daughter of Colonel Sir Edward Law Durand, 1st Bt. and Maude Ellen Heber-Percy, on 13 October 1915.¹ He died on 9 May 1947.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     P/O David Reginald Ferrers Haviland was born on 8 June 1918.¹ He was the son of Captain Wilfred Pollen Haviland and Beryl Marion Durand.² He died on 23 December 1940 at age 22, killed in action.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹

     Gwendolen Mary Beryl Haviland was born on 1 November 1916.¹ She was the daughter of Captain Wilfred Pollen Haviland and Beryl Marion Durand.² She married Major Peter Herbert Sparks, son of Herbert Joseph Sparks, on 19 October 1946.¹ She died on 31 July 2007 at age 90.³
     She was educated at Abbots Hill School, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ From 19 October 1946, her married name became Sparks. She was the Headmistress between 1964 and 1978 at Berkhamsted School, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ She lived in 2003 at The Old Vicarage, Compton Abdale, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Major Peter Herbert Sparks was the son of Herbert Joseph Sparks.² He married Gwendolen Mary Beryl Haviland, daughter of Captain Wilfred Pollen Haviland and Beryl Marion Durand, on 19 October 1946.¹ He died on 23 March 2003.³
     He gained the rank of Major in the King Edward’s Own Gurkha Rifles.¹

     Richard Peter Haviland Sparks was born on 20 August 1951.¹ He is the son of Major Peter Herbert Sparks and Gwendolen Mary Beryl Haviland.² He married Jennifer Denise Klix in 1983.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He graduated from Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 715 North Bedford Drive, Beverly Hills, California, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Jennifer Denise Klix married, secondly, Richard Peter Haviland Sparks, son of Major Peter Herbert Sparks and Gwendolen Mary Beryl Haviland, in 1983.¹
     Her married name became Okun.² From 1983, her married name became Sparks.
