     Maj.-Gen. William Havelock Chaplin Ramsden was born on 3 October 1888.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Plumptre Ramsden and Ethel Frances Alice Havelock.² He married, firstly, Christine Adelaide Baldwin, daughter of James Yescombe Baldwin, on 22 January 1918.¹ He and Christine Adelaide Baldwin were divorced in 1946.¹ He married, secondly, Eugenia Isabella Amy Whale-Ure, daughter of John Francis Whale-Ure, on 21 September 1946.¹ He died on 16 December 1969 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Bath College, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Hampshire Regiment.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.¹ He served in the North-west Frontier Province between 1935 and 1937.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.¹ He fought in 1939, he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1939.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1940.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1943.¹ He was General Officer Commanding in Sudan and Eritrea between 1944 and 1945.¹

     James Yescombe Baldwin lived at Mount Pleasant, County Cork, Ireland.¹

     Christine Adelaide Baldwin is the daughter of James Yescombe Baldwin.² She married Maj.-Gen. William Havelock Chaplin Ramsden, son of Reverend Henry Plumptre Ramsden and Ethel Frances Alice Havelock, on 22 January 1918.¹ She and Maj.-Gen. William Havelock Chaplin Ramsden were divorced in 1946.¹
     From 22 January 1918, her married name became Ramsden.¹

     John Yescombe Ramsden was born on 13 October 1919.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. William Havelock Chaplin Ramsden and Christine Adelaide Baldwin.² He married Joanna Hamilton.¹ He died on 10 January 1954 at age 34, killed in Comet air disaster.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was with Shell.¹

     Joanna Hamilton married John Yescombe Ramsden, son of Maj.-Gen. William Havelock Chaplin Ramsden and Christine Adelaide Baldwin.¹
     And was killed in Comet air disaster.¹ Her married name became Ramsden.

     Albrecht van Voorne was born in 1300.¹ He was the son of Gerard Heer van Voorne Burggraf van Zeeland and Hedwig van Borselen.¹ He married Mathilde van Wesemaele Vrouwe van Bergen-op-Zoom on 13 November 1324.¹ He died on 25 September 1331.¹

     John Francis Whale-Ure graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)¹ He lived at Chertsey, Surrey, England.¹

     From before 21 September 1946, her married name became Wathen.¹ From 21 September 1946, her married name became Ramsden.¹ She lived at Green Banks, West Chiltington, Sussex, England.¹

     Rosamund Mary Lowther Ramsden was born on 9 September 1892.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Plumptre Ramsden and Ethel Frances Alice Havelock.² She died on 14 October 1901 at age 9 at Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England.^1,3
