Sir George Dunbar of Mochrum, 5th Bt. was the son of Thomas Dunbar and Tryphena Pincock.2 He married Jane Rowe, daughter of William Rowe, in 1775.1 He died on 10 October 1811.1

Sir William Rowe Dunbar of Mochrum, 6th Bt. was born on 19 October 1776.1 He was the son of Sir George Dunbar of Mochrum, 5th Bt. and Jane Rowe.2 He married Jacobina Anne Copland, daughter of William Copland of Colliston and Helen Dunbar, on 24 August 1798.1 He died on 22 June 1841 at age 64.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 21st Light Dragoons.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Dunbar, of Mochrum, co. Wigtown [N.S., 1694] on 10 October 1811.1
