     Michael Cecil Fitzherbert was born on 21 March 1919.¹ He was the son of Captain Cecil Henry FitzHerbert and Ellen Katharine Lowndes.² He married Elizabeth McFadyen, daughter of Sir Eric McFadyen, on 3 July 1948.¹ He died on 15 December 1951 at age 32, as the result of an accident.¹
     He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War, and became a POW in Java.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) in 1946.¹

     Julia Alice Fitzherbert was born on 17 October 1951.¹ She is the daughter of Michael Cecil Fitzherbert and Elizabeth McFadyen.^2,1 She married Mungo Farquhar Tulloch, son of W. A. Tulloch, on 6 July 1974.¹
     From 6 July 1974, her married name became Tulloch.
