     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Ambassador to Egypt in 1942.1 He was Adjutant of the Trans Jordan Frontier Force in 1943.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 8th King’s Royal Irish Hussars.1 He was member of the London Stock Exchange in 1952.1 He lived in 1976 at Somerford Farm, Brinkworth, Wiltshire, EnglandG.3
