[Ireland] in 1810.¹ He held the office of Lord of Treasury in 1810.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1812.¹ He held the office of Chancellor of Irish Exchequer between 1812 and 1816.¹ On 13 February 1815 his name was legally changed to William Vesey-Fitzgerald by Royal Licence.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Clare between 1818 and 1828.¹ He was Envoy to Sweden between 1820 and 1823.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Clare Militia.¹ In 1822 he unsuccessfully claimed the title of The White Knight.¹ He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Clare.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Clare.¹ He held the office of Paymaster-General between 1826 and 1828.¹ He held the office of President of the Board of Trade between 1828 and 1830.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newport, Cornwall in 1830.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lostwithiel.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron FitzGerald and Vesci, of Clare and Inchicronan, co. Clare [I., 1826] on 3 January 1832.¹ He was created 1st Baron FitzGerald, of Desmond and Clan Gibbon, co. Cork [U.K.] on 20 January 1835.¹ He held the office of President of the Board of Control for India between 1841 and 1843.¹

     unknown daughter Byron was the daughter of William Byron, 4th Baron Byron of Rochdale and Lady Frances Wilhelmina Bentinck.¹ She died, unmarried.¹

     Lily Josephine Rosemary Judd was born on 28 June 1997.¹ She is the daughter of Jasper Judd and Caroline Margaret Daly.¹

     Tallulah Davina Caroline Judd was born on 17 December 2000.¹ She is the daughter of Jasper Judd and Caroline Margaret Daly.¹

     Hon. Letitia Vesey-Fitzgerald was born on 28 July 1788.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. James Fitzgerald and Catherine Vesey, Baroness Fitzgerald and Vesci.² She married Hon. John Leslie-Foster, son of Rt. Rev. William Foster and Catherine Letitia Leslie, on 19 August 1814.¹ She died on 1 February 1864 at age 75.¹
     From 19 August 1814, her married name became Leslie-Foster.¹ On 7 May 1860 her name was legally changed to Letitia Foster-Vesey-Fitzgerald by Royal Licence.²

     Hon. John Leslie-Foster was born in 1781.² He was the son of Rt. Rev. William Foster and Catherine Letitia Leslie.² He married Hon. Letitia Vesey-Fitzgerald, daughter of Rt. Hon. James Fitzgerald and Catherine Vesey, Baroness Fitzgerald and Vesci, on 19 August 1814.¹ He died on 9 July 1842.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1799 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was admitted to King’s Inns in 1803 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.² He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)² He held the office of Advocate-General [Ireland] in 1816.² He was Counsel to the Commissioners of Revenue in 1818.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Louth.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the University of Dublin.² In 1830 a Baron of Court of Exchequer.² He lived at Rathescar, County Louth, Ireland^G.² He held the office of Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in 1842.²

     Hon. Catherine Geraldine Fitzgerald was born on 4 February 1795.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. James Fitzgerald and Catherine Vesey, Baroness Fitzgerald and Vesci.² She died in 1832, unmarried.¹
