Lady Louisa Catherine Howe1

Lady Louisa Catherine Howe was born on 9 December 1767.3 She was the daughter of Admiral Richard Howe, 1st and last Earl Howe and Mary Hartopp.1 She married, firstly, John Denis Browne, 1st Marquess of Sligo, son of Peter Browne, 2nd Earl of Altamont and Elizabeth Kelly, on 21 May 1787.1 She married, secondly, William Scott, 1st and last Baron Stowell of Stowell Park, son of William Scott and Jane Atkinson, on 10 April 1813.1 She died on 20 August 1817 at age 49.1
After her marriage, Lady Louisa Catherine Howe was styled as Countess of Altamont on 21 May 1787. From 21 May 1787, her married name became Browne. After her marriage, Lady Louisa Catherine Howe was styled as Marchioness of Sligo on 31 December 1800. From 10 April 1813, her married name became Scott.

Mary Hartopp was the daughter of Chiverton Hartopp.1 She married Admiral Richard Howe, 1st and last Earl Howe, son of Emanuel Scrope Howe, 2nd Viscount Howe and Mary Sophia Charlotte Kielmansegge, on 10 March 1758.1 She died on 9 August 1800.1
From 10 March 1758, her married name became Howe. After her marriage, Mary Hartopp was styled as Viscountess Howe on 6 July 1758. After her marriage, Mary Hartopp was styled as Countess Howe on 19 August 1788.
