     Honora Butler was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Butler and Lady Margaret Bourke.¹ She married Sir Valentine Browne, 5th Bt., son of Sir Nicholas Browne, 4th Bt. and Helen Browne, in November 1720.¹ She died in 1730, from smallpox.¹
     From November 1720, her married name became Browne.

     Sir Valentine Browne, 5th Bt. was born in March 1695.² He was the son of Sir Nicholas Browne, 4th Bt. and Helen Browne.² He married, firstly, Honora Butler, daughter of Colonel Thomas Butler and Lady Margaret Bourke, in November 1720.² He married, secondly, Mary FitzGerald, daughter of Sir Maurice FitzGerald, 5th Bt. and Helen Butler, in October 1735.¹ He died on 30 June 1736 at age 41.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Kenmare [I., 1689] on 26 April 1720, de jure.² He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Browne, of Mohaliffe, co. Kerry [I., 1622] on 26 April 1720.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Castlerosse [I., 1689] on 26 April 1720, de jure.² He recovered the possession of the forfeited family estates.³

     John Butler was the son of Walter Butler and Mary Plunkett.¹ He married Frances Butler, daughter of George Butler.¹
     He lived at Garryricken, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.¹

     Frances Butler was the daughter of George Butler.¹ She married John Butler, son of Walter Butler and Mary Plunkett.¹

     George Butler lived at Ballyragget, County Kilkenny, Ireland.¹

     Walter Butler, 16th Earl of Ormonde was born on 10 June 1703.¹ He was the son of John Butler and Frances Butler.¹ He married Ellen Morres, daughter of Nicholas Morres, on 19 December 1732.¹ He died on 2 June 1783 at age 79.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Thurles [I., 1536] on 24 June 1766, de jure.¹ He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Ormonde [I., 1328] on 24 June 1766, de jure.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Ossory [I., 1528] on 24 June 1766, de jure.¹

     Ellen Morres was born in 1703.² She was the daughter of Nicholas Morres.¹ She married Walter Butler, 16th Earl of Ormonde, son of John Butler and Frances Butler, on 19 December 1732.¹ She died on 31 December 1793.¹
     Her married name became Butler.

     Nicholas Morres was born in 1676.¹ He was the son of Sir John Morres, 3rd Bt. and Ellin Butler.² He married Susanna Talbot, daughter of Richard Talbot and Frances Talbot.¹ He died on 23 March 1742.¹
     He lived at Lataragh, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.² He lived at Seafield, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir John Morres, 3rd Bt. was born on 29 August 1620.¹ He was the son of Sir Redmond Morres, 2nd Bt. and Ellice Wall.² He married Ellin Butler, daughter of Thomas Butler, 3rd Baron Caher and Ellinor Power, circa 1665.¹ He died on 26 October 1720 at age 100.¹
     He was a poet.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Morres, of Knockagh, co. Tipperary [I., 1631] before 1656.¹

     John Butler, 17th Earl of Ormonde was born on 10 December 1740.¹ He was the son of Walter Butler, 16th Earl of Ormonde and Ellen Morres.¹ He married Lady Frances Susan Elizabeth Wandesford, daughter of John Wandesford, 1st and last Earl Wandesford and Agnes Elizabeth Southwell, on 14 February 1769.² He died on 25 December 1795 at age 55.¹ He was buried at St. Canice Cathedral, Kilkenny, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.³
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Gowran between 1776 and 1783.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kilkenny between 1783 and 1791.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Ossory [I., 1528] on 2 June 1783.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Thurles [I., 1536] on 2 June 1783.¹ He succeeded as the 17th Earl of Ormonde [I., 1328] on 2 June 1783.¹ In 1791 his titles were recognised in the Irish House of Lords.¹
