     Edward Rupert Sydney Stopford Sackville was born on 30 April 1887.¹ He was the son of Sydney Robert Stopford Sackville and Janet Shields.¹ He died on 9 December 1943 at age 56, unmarried.¹

     Fanny Louisa Stopford Sackville was the daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville.¹ She married Rt. Rev. Hon. Augustus Legge, son of William Legge, 4th Earl of Dartmouth and Hon. Frances Barrington, on 3 January 1877.¹ She died on 23 December 1911.¹
     Her married name became Legge.

     Georgina Mary Stopford was the daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville.² She married Hon. Sir Edward Pierson Thesiger, son of Frederick Thesiger, 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford and Anna Maria Tinling, on 13 May 1869.¹ She died on 22 December 1906.¹
     Her married name became Thesiger.

     Margaret Elizabeth Stopford Sackville is the daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville.¹ She married William Edmund Wood Collins on 12 January 1882.¹
     Her married name became Collins.

     Eleanor Mary Agnes Stopford Sackville was the daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville.¹ She married Lionel John William Fletcher, son of Maj.-Gen. Edward Charles Fletcher and Lady Frances Marsham, on 23 September 1879.¹ She died on 10 December 1943.¹
     Her married name became Fletcher.

     Beatrice Evelyn Stopford Sackville was born circa 1854 at London, England.² She was the daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville.¹ She married Sir Harry Samuel Cumming Clarke-Jervoise, 5th Bt., son of Samuel Clarke-Jervoise, on 3 August 1874.¹ She died on 4 July 1943.¹
     Her married name became Clarke-Jervoise.

     Grace Stopford Sackville was the daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville.¹ She married Henry Arden Adderley, 5th Baron Norton, son of Charles Bowyer Adderley, 1st Baron Norton and Hon. Julia Anne Eliza Leigh, on 30 August 1881.¹ She died on 16 February 1944.¹
     Her married name became Adderley. After her marriage, Grace Stopford Sackville was styled as Baroness Norton on 4 January 1944.

     Rt. Rev. Hon. Augustus Legge was born on 28 November 1839.² He was the son of William Legge, 4th Earl of Dartmouth and Hon. Frances Barrington.^1,2 He married Fanny Louisa Stopford Sackville, daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville, on 3 January 1877.¹ He died on 15 March 1913 at age 73.²
     He held the office of Bishop of Lichfield between 1891 and 1913.² He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)²

     Hon. Sir Edward Pierson Thesiger was born on 19 December 1842.¹ He was the son of Frederick Thesiger, 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford and Anna Maria Tinling.² He married Georgina Mary Stopford, daughter of William Bruce Stopford Sackville and Caroline Harriet Sackville, on 13 May 1869.¹ He died on 11 November 1928 at age 85.¹
     He was Clerk of the Parliamentary Office in 1862.¹ He was Secretary of Presentations to the Lords Chancellor between 1866 and 1890.¹ He was Clerk-Assistant to Parliament between 1890 and 1917.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Frederick Thesiger, 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford was born on 15 July 1794 at 1 Fowkes Building, Tower Street, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Charles Thesiger and Mary Anne Williams.² He was baptised on 4 September 1794 at St. Dunstan’s-in-the-East Church, London, England^G.³ He married Anna Maria Tinling, daughter of William Tinling and Frances Pierson, on 9 March 1822 at All Saints’ Church, Southampton, Hampshire, England^G.³ He died on 5 October 1878 at age 84.² He was buried at Brompton Cemetery, Brompton, London, England^G.⁴ His will was proven (by probate) on 23 October 1878, at under £50,000.⁴
     He was educated at Dr. Burney’s School, Greenwich, London, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Midshipman in 1807 in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Bombardment of Copenhagen on 7 September 1807.³ He was admitted to Gray’s Inn on 18 November 1818 entitled to practise as a barrister.^1,3 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1824.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) in 1834.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Abingdon between 1844 and 1852.¹ He held the office of Solicitor-General on 15 April 1844.³ He was appointed Knight on 23 May 1844.³ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 19 June 1845.³ He held the office of Attorney-General between 29 June 1845 and 3 July 1846.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Stamford between 1852 and 1858.¹ He held the office of Attorney-General between 27 February 1852 and 28 December 1852.³ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 26 February 1858.³ He held the office of Lord Chancellor between 26 February 1858 and 18 June 1859.³ He was created 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford, co.
