Hon. Julia Selina Thesiger was the daughter of Frederick Thesiger, 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford and Anna Maria Tinling.3 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir John Eardley Wilmot Inglis, son of Rt. Rev. John Inglis and Elizabeth Cochran, on 19 July 1851.1 She died on 3 February 1904.1
From 19 July 1851, her married name became Inglis.

Maj.-Gen. Sir John Eardley Wilmot Inglis was born on 15 November 1814.3 He was the son of Rt. Rev. John Inglis and Elizabeth Cochran.4,5 He married Hon. Julia Selina Thesiger, daughter of Frederick Thesiger, 1st Baron Chelmsford of Chelmsford and Anna Maria Tinling, on 19 July 1851.1 He died on 27 September 1862 at age 47 at Hamburg, Germany.1
He gained the rank of Colonel in the 32nd Foot.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He fought in the Siege of Lucknow in 1857.6
