     Lt.-Col. Hon. Augustus Frederick Ellis was born on 17 September 1800.² He was the son of Charles Rose Ellis, 1st Baron Seaford of Seaford and Elizabeth Catherine Caroline Hervey.² He married Mary Frances Thurlow Cunynghame, daughter of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Maria Thurlow, on 25 June 1828.² He died on 16 August 1841 at age 40.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 60th Royal Rifles.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)²

     Mary Frances Thurlow Cunynghame was the daughter of Colonel Sir David Cunynghame of Milncraig, 5th Bt. and Maria Thurlow. She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Hon. Augustus Frederick Ellis, son of Charles Rose Ellis, 1st Baron Seaford of Seaford and Elizabeth Catherine Caroline Hervey, on 25 June 1828.¹ She married, secondly, Wilhelm Baron von Munster after 1841.¹ She died on 12 September 1851.¹
     Her married name became Ellis.

     Mary Ann Rhodes was born illegitimately circa 1850.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. William Barnard Rhodes and Otahi (?)^1,2 She married Edward Moorhouse, son of William Moorhouse, in 1883.^1,2
     From 1883, her married name became Moorhouse.¹

     Thomas Richards Homfray was born in 1983.¹ He is the son of John George Richards Homfray and Josephine Dykes Chenevix-Trench.¹ He married Katherine Anne Meade, daughter of James John Meade and Annabel Jane Dent, in 2011.²

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Arthur Edward Augustus Ellis was born on 13 December 1837.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Augustus Frederick Ellis and Mary Frances Thurlow Cunynghame.² He married Hon. Mina Frances Labouchere, daughter of Henry Labouchere, 1st and last Baron Taunton and Frances Baring, on 2 May 1864.² He died on 11 June 1907 at age 69.²
     He fought in the Crimean War in 1854.² He gained the rank of Major-General in the Grenadier Guards.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)² He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)¹ He held the office of Serjeant-at-Arms, House of Lords between 1898 and 1901.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹ He held the office of Comptroller of the Lord Chamberlain’s Department between 1901 and 1907.² He held the office of Extra Equerry to HM Edward VII between 1901 and 1907.²

     Hon. Mina Frances Labouchere was the daughter of Henry Labouchere, 1st and last Baron Taunton and Frances Baring. She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Arthur Edward Augustus Ellis, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Augustus Frederick Ellis and Mary Frances Thurlow Cunynghame, on 2 May 1864.¹ She died on 4 September 1917.¹
     Her married name became Ellis.

     Charles Rose Ellis, 1st Baron Seaford of Seaford was born on 19 December 1771.² He was the son of John Ellis and Elizabeth Palmer.³ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Catherine Caroline Hervey, daughter of Captain John Augustus Hervey, Lord Hervey and Elizabeth Drummond, on 2 August 1798.² He married, secondly, Louisa Emily Anne Berkeley, daughter of Admiral Hon. Sir George Cranfield Berkeley and Lady Emilia Charlotte Lennox, on 2 October 1840.² He died on 1 July 1845 at age 73.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Heytesbury between 1793 and 1796.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Seaford between 1796 and 1806.² He purchased the Claremont estate, Esher, Surrey circa 1798.² As the leader of the West Indies planters in Parliament, he had great influence though an indifferent orator.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for East Grinstead between 1807 and 1812.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Seaford between 1812 and 1826.² He was created 1st Baron Seaford of Seaford, co. Sussex [U.K.] on 15 July 1826.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁴
     

     Elizabeth Catherine Caroline Hervey was born on 17 August 1780.¹ She was the daughter of Captain John Augustus Hervey, Lord Hervey and Elizabeth Drummond.¹ She was baptised on 4 September 1780 at Ickworth, Suffolk, England^G.¹ She married Charles Rose Ellis, 1st Baron Seaford of Seaford, son of John Ellis and Elizabeth Palmer, on 2 August 1798.² She died on 21 January 1803 at age 22.¹
     Her married name became Ellis.

     Captain John Augustus Hervey, Lord Hervey was born on 1 January 1757.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Frederick Augustus Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol and Elizabeth Davers.¹ He was baptised on 29 January 1757 at Horningsheath, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He married Elizabeth Drummond, daughter of Colin Drummond and Katherine Oliphant, on 4 October 1779 at Quebec, Canada^G.¹ He died on 10 January 1796 at age 39, without male issue.¹ He was buried on 26 September 1796 at Ickworth, Suffolk, England^G.¹
     He was styled as Lord Hervey between 1779 and 1796.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1780 in the Royal Navy.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to Florence between 1787 and 1794.¹

     Elizabeth Drummond was baptised on 3 March 1758 at Errol, Perthshire, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Colin Drummond and Katherine Oliphant.^1,3 She married Captain John Augustus Hervey, Lord Hervey, son of Rt. Rev. Frederick Augustus Hervey, 4th Earl of Bristol and Elizabeth Davers, on 4 October 1779 at Quebec, Canada^G.¹ She died on 4 September 1818 at age 60 at Richmond, Surrey, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Hervey.
