     Sir Arthur John Dorman, 1st Bt. was born on 8 August 1848.¹ He was the son of Charles Dorman and Emma Page.² He married Clara Share Lockwood, daughter of George Lockwood, in March 1873.¹ He died on 12 February 1931 at age 82.¹
     He was founder and chairman of Dorman, Long & Company at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, North Riding, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He was created 1st Baronet Dorman, of Nunthorpe, co. Yorks [U.K.] on 21 July 1923.¹

     George Lockwood lived at Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, England^G.¹

     Clara Share Lockwood was the daughter of George Lockwood.² She married Sir Arthur John Dorman, 1st Bt., son of Charles Dorman and Emma Page, in March 1873.¹ She died on 27 January 1933.¹
     From March 1873, her married name became Dorman.

     Arthur Charles Dorman was born on 21 April 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir Arthur John Dorman, 1st Bt. and Clara Share Lockwood.² He married Audrey Marguerite Inman, daughter of George Frederick Moore Inman, on 30 June 1909.¹ He died on 28 February 1929 at age 54.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1918.¹

     George Frederick Moore Inman lived at Monkstown, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Audrey Marguerite Inman was the daughter of George Frederick Moore Inman.² She married Arthur Charles Dorman, son of Sir Arthur John Dorman, 1st Bt. and Clara Share Lockwood, on 30 June 1909.¹ She died on 2 October 1950.¹
     From 30 June 1909, her married name became Dorman.

     Roberta Scott is the daughter of unknown Scott.¹ She married John Dewar, son of David Dewar.¹
     Her married name became Dewar.¹

     Alexander Sowerby Hay is the son of Alexander Hay.² He married Isabella Jameson Waterlow, daughter of Alfred James Waterlow and Isabella Jameson.²

     Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Geoffrey Dorman, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 September 1920.¹ He was the son of Sir Bedford Lockwood Dorman, 2nd Bt. and Constance Phelps Hay.² He married Elizabeth Ann Gilmour-White, daughter of George Gilmour-White, on 22 December 1954.¹ He and Elizabeth Ann Gilmour-White were divorced in 1972.¹ He died on 2 September 1996 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Second World War in the in Egypt and Italy.¹ He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1941 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1942.¹ He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1947 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1947 in the King’s Own Hussars and 13th/18th Royal Hussars (QMO.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1954.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dorman, of Nunthorpe, co. Yorks [U.K., 1923] on 5 September 1956.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1961.¹ He was GSO(1) of the (ADSR) AORE between 1961 and 1964.¹
