     Her married name became Hay. From after 1883, her married name became Magee.¹

     Fenella Anne Chenevix-Trench was born on 25 November 1943.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Richard Blakesley Chenevix Trench and Nancy Carey Munro.¹ She married Richard Law Townsend, son of Dr. R. L. H. Townsend, on 22 November 1969.¹
     From 22 November 1969, her married name became Townsend.¹ She lived in 1999 at 129 Broadhurst Crescent, Ancaster, Ontario, Canada^G.¹

     Gilbert James Hay was born on 6 December 1879.¹ He was the son of James Gordon Hay and Mary Catherine Cox.¹ He died on 30 July 1883 at age 3.¹

     Major Malcolm Vivian Hay of Seaton was born on 21 January 1881.¹ He was the son of James Gordon Hay and Mary Catherine Cox.¹ He married, firstly, Florence de Thiene, daughter of Gaétan Mabille du Chêne, Comte de Thiene and Chéricle Louis Gudin, on 13 May 1902.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Ivy Wigmore, daughter of Herbert John Wigmore, on 23 May 1956.¹ He died on 27 December 1962 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Gordon Hghlanders.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by St. Andrew’s University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G, in 1950.¹ He lived at Seaton House, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)¹

     Florence de Thiene was the daughter of Gaétan Mabille du Chêne, Comte de Thiene and Chéricle Louis Gudin.^1,2 She married Major Malcolm Vivian Hay of Seaton, son of James Gordon Hay and Mary Catherine Cox, on 13 May 1902.¹ She died on 3 January 1943.¹
     Her married name became Hay.

     Alice Ivy Wigmore is the daughter of Herbert John Wigmore.¹ She married, firstly, Walter Moncrieff Paterson before 1956.¹ She married, secondly, Major Malcolm Vivian Hay of Seaton, son of James Gordon Hay and Mary Catherine Cox, on 23 May 1956.¹
     From before 1956, her married name became Paterson.¹ Her married name became Hay.

     Herbert John Wigmore lived at Perth, Western Australia, Australia^G.¹

     Richard Law Townsend is the son of Dr. R. L. H. Townsend.¹ He married Fenella Anne Chenevix-Trench, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Richard Blakesley Chenevix Trench and Nancy Carey Munro, on 22 November 1969.¹

     Major James Malcolm Hay of Seaton was born on 30 June 1907.² He was the son of Major Malcolm Vivian Hay of Seaton and Florence de Thiene.² He married Mary Eleanora Basset Curzon, daughter of Charles Ernest Basset Lothian Curzon and Geraldine Fosbery Mills, on 19 April 1941.¹ He died on 23 September 1987 at age 80.^1,3
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the Gordon Hghlanders.² He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Aberdeenshire.²
