     John Clement Chawner was the son of William John Hampden Chawner.¹ He married Violet Mary Magan, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Tilson Shaen Magan and Kathleen Jane Biddulph, on 30 December 1935.¹ He died on 5 January 1955.¹
