     He was educated at Imperial Service College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Indian Army, 13th Frontier Force Rifles.¹ He was commissioned in 1936, in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He retired from the military in 1949, with the rank of Flight Lieutenant.¹ He lived in 1976 at The Lhen, Hague Drive, Onchan, Isle of Man^G.¹

     Mary Isobel Greenwood married F/Lt. Philip Arthur Townsend, son of Admiral Cyril Samuel Townsend and Mary Elizabeth Moseley, on 28 July 1951.¹
     She lived at Colne, Lancashire, England^G.¹ From 28 July 1951, her married name became Townsend.¹

     Helen Mary Townsend was born on 9 November 1906.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Cyril Samuel Townsend and Mary Elizabeth Moseley.² She married S/Ldr. John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot, son of Reverend Arthur Henry Chetwynd-Talbot and Eveline Mary Ashton, on 6 July 1929.¹ She and S/Ldr. John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot were divorced in 1963.¹ She died on 17 August 1969 at age 62.¹
     From 6 July 1929, her married name became Talbot. From 1963, her married name became Chetwynd-Talbot.¹

     Captain Simon Thomas Clarke was born on 9 June 1936. He was the son of Major Charles Martin Clarke and Ferelith Patricia Fuller.^1,2 He married Frances Eileen Bernadette Boylan, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Michael Benedict Carey Boylan and Eileen Cecilia May Wetherell, on 23 February 1965.¹ He died on 25 September 2019 at age 83.³
     He retired from the military in 1962, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Horse Guards.² He lived in 1976 at Manor Farm, Shipton Moyne, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, England^G.²

     S/Ldr. John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot was born on 14 March 1905.² He was the son of Reverend Arthur Henry Chetwynd-Talbot and Eveline Mary Ashton.^3,2 He married, firstly, Helen Mary Townsend, daughter of Admiral Cyril Samuel Townsend and Mary Elizabeth Moseley, on 6 July 1929.¹ He and Helen Mary Townsend were divorced in 1963.¹ He married Betty Verral Alton, daughter of Reverend Augustus George Alton, on 21 September 1963.² He died in 1993.⁴
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He graduated from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (A.M.I.Mech.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Squadron-Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.² He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.)¹

     Elizabeth Anne Townsend was born on 2 November 1914.¹ She is the daughter of Admiral Cyril Samuel Townsend and Mary Elizabeth Moseley.² She married Commander John Louis Woollcombe, son of Admiral Louis Charles Stirling Woollcombe and Constance Perry Circuitt, on 4 April 1940.¹
     From 4 April 1940, her married name became Woollcombe.

     Admiral Louis Charles Stirling Woollcombe was born in 1872.² He was the son of Reverend George Woollcombe and Emily Rose Stirling.³ He married Constance Perry Circuitt on 6 March 1905.⁴ He died in 1951.²
