John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot and Helen Mary Townsend.¹ He married, firstly, Sonja Ann Walker, daughter of Roger Walker, on 3 April 1959.¹ He and Sonja Ann Walker were divorced in 1964.¹ He married Belinda Bess Gilchrist, daughter of Major Euan James Leslie Warren Gilchrist, on 4 April 1967.¹ He died on 13 December 2019 at age 85.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant (A) between 1955 and 1957 in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.¹ He lived in 2003 at Old Swan Cottage, Wilton, Wiltshire, England.¹
