     Mary O’Connell was born in 1778.2 She was the daughter of Thomas O’Connell and Ellen Tuohy.3,4 She married Daniel O’Connell, son of Morgan O’Connell and Catherine O’Mullane, on 23 June 1802.5 She was also reported to have been married on 24 July 1802.1 She died on 31 October 1836.5

     Maurice O’Connell was born on 27 June 1803.2 He was the son of Daniel O’Connell and Mary O’Connell.2 He married Mary Francis Scott, daughter of John Bindon Scott, on 29 September 1832 in a Roman Catholic marriage.2 Maurice and Mary Francis were also married in a religious ceremony Church of Ireland on 1 October 1832.2 He died on 18 June 1853 at age 49.2
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Clare between 1831 and 1832.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tralee between 1832 and 1853.2 He lived at Derrynane, IrelandG.2
