     From 18 April 1876, her married name became Downes.¹

     Thomas Downes married Theresa O’Connell, daughter of Charles O’Connell and Catherine O’Connell, on 18 April 1876.¹ He died on 14 December 1904.¹
     He was a practising Solicitor at Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Jeffrey O’Connell was the son of Daniel O’Connell and Theresa Lombard.² He died in May 1825, from lockjaw, while a medical student.¹

     James Peter Paul O’Connell was baptised on 30 June 1807.¹ He was the son of Daniel O’Connell and Theresa Lombard.² He died circa 1 November 1830.¹

     Maurice O’Connell was born in 1810.¹ He was the son of Daniel O’Connell and Theresa Lombard.² He married Margaret McCarthy, daughter of Samuel McCarthy, circa 26 August 1846.¹ He died on 14 February 1892.¹
     He lived at Surmount, Ballincollig, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaret McCarthy was the daughter of Samuel McCarthy.¹ She married Maurice O’Connell, son of Daniel O’Connell and Theresa Lombard, circa 26 August 1846.¹ She died on 11 February 1882.¹
     From circa 26 August 1846, her married name became O’Connell.

     Daniel Maurice O’Connell was born on 25 June 1846.¹ He was the son of Maurice O’Connell and Margaret McCarthy.² He married Robina Elizabeth Nuttall, daughter of John Freeman Nuttall, on 27 January 1883.¹ He died on 15 December 1914 at age 68.¹
     He was in the British Army.¹ He emigrated to Canada^G.¹

     John Freeman Nuttall held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Tittour, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹

     Robina Elizabeth Nuttall was the daughter of John Freeman Nuttall.² She married Daniel Maurice O’Connell, son of Maurice O’Connell and Margaret McCarthy, on 27 January 1883.¹ She died on 3 July 1934.¹
     From 27 January 1883, her married name became O’Connell.
