     Mary Francis Scott is the daughter of John Bindon Scott.2 She married Maurice O’Connell, son of Daniel O’Connell and Mary O’Connell, on 29 September 1832 in a Roman Catholic marriage.1 Mary Francis and Maurice were also married in a religious ceremony Church of Ireland on 1 October 1832.1
     From 29 September 1832, her married name became O’Connell.

Daniel O’Connell1

     Daniel O’Connell was born on 20 November 1836.1 He was the son of Maurice O’Connell and Mary Francis Scott.2 He married Isabella Ellen Lawlor, daughter of Denis Shine Lawlor and Isabella Huddlestone, on 23 April 1861.1 He died on 30 May 1919 at age 82.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kerry in 1860.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was architect of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Terryglass, County Tipperary.1 He lived at Derrynane, IrelandG.1
