Charles Julius Deedes was born on 18 October 1913 at 23 Dean Park Crescent, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2 He was the son of General Sir Charles Parker Deedes and Eve Mary Dean-Pitt.¹ He married Beatrice Elaine Murgatroyd, daughter of H. M. Murgatroyd, on 4 September 1939 at St. Wilfred’s Church, York, Yorkshire, England.² He died on 7 May 2005 at age 91 at York, Yorkshire, England^G.¹
     He was educated at Oratory School, Reading, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War, in Europe and Italy, and was wounded.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He was Commanding Officer of the Glider Pilot Regiment between 1949 and 1950.² He was Colonel of the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry between 1966 and 1970.² He gained the rank of Major-General in the King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.¹

     Eve Mary Dean-Pitt was born in 1885 at Portsea, Hampshire, England.² She was the daughter of Captain Stanley Talbot Dean-Pitt and Harriet Mary Augusta Williams.^1,2 She married General Sir Charles Parker Deedes, son of Reverend Philip Deedes and Josephine Parker, on 4 July 1906 at Brompton Oratory, Kensington, London, England.^1,2 She died on 27 July 1970 at Park Lodge, Budleigh Salterton, Devon, England.²
     From 4 July 1906, her married name became Deedes.¹

     Hermione Gladys Deedes was born on 23 September 1918.¹ She is the daughter of Herbert William Deedes and Melesina Gladys Chenevix Trench.² She married John Constantine Phipps, son of Sir Edmund Bampfylde Phipps, on 23 April 1965.¹
     From 23 April 1965, her married name became Phipps.

     Sir Edmund Bampfylde Phipps was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     John Constantine Phipps is the son of Sir Edmund Bampfylde Phipps.² He married Hermione Gladys Deedes, daughter of Herbert William Deedes and Melesina Gladys Chenevix Trench, on 23 April 1965.¹

     Margaret Melesina Deedes was born on 7 January 1923.¹ She was the daughter of Herbert William Deedes and Melesina Gladys Chenevix Trench.² She married FitzWalter Brook Plumptre, 21st Lord FitzWalter, son of George Beresford Plumptre and Mary Augusta Plumptre, on 29 September 1951.¹ She died on 3 September 2015 at age 92.³
     From 29 September 1951, her married name became Plumptre.

     FitzWalter Brook Plumptre, 21st Lord FitzWalter was born on 15 January 1914.² He was the son of George Beresford Plumptre and Mary Augusta Plumptre.² He married Margaret Melesina Deedes, daughter of Herbert William Deedes and Melesina Gladys Chenevix Trench, on 29 September 1951.¹ He died on 14 October 2004 at age 90.³
     He was also known as Brook.² He was educated at Diocesan College, Rondebosch, Cape Province, South Africa^G.² He graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1937 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Captain in the The Buffs.² He fought in the Second World War, in North-West Europe and India.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent in 1949.² He succeeded as the 21st Lord FitzWalter [E., 1295] on 28 May 1953, on termination of abeyance.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived in 2003 at Goodnestone Park, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.²

     William Walker Stevenson married Sheelin Deidre O’Kelly, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Kane O’Kelly.¹
