     George Beresford Plumptre was born on 21 March 1869.¹ He was the son of John Bridges Plumptre and Elizabeth Wright.² He married Mary Augusta Plumptre, daughter of Reverend Henry Western Plumptre and Frederica Harriet Bridges, on 18 February 1908 at Eastry, Kent, England^G.¹ He died on 23 April 1934 at age 65.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the East Kent Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹

     Major Michael Owen Girdlestone married Sarah Fariana Mary Agnes Pennant, daughter of Reverend Philip Vivian Rogers Pennant and Elizabeth Mary Plumptre, in 1984.¹

     Mary Augusta Plumptre was born in 1874 at Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, England^G. She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Western Plumptre and Frederica Harriet Bridges.² She married George Beresford Plumptre, son of John Bridges Plumptre and Elizabeth Wright, on 18 February 1908 at Eastry, Kent, England^G.¹ She died on 3 February 1953.¹

     Major Peter Bridges Plumptre was born on 25 March 1916.¹ He was the son of George Beresford Plumptre and Mary Augusta Plumptre.² He married Maude Helen May Baird, daughter of Geoffrey Henry Baird, in 1944.¹ He died on 3 January 1995 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at King’s School, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.¹ He was educated at Diocesan College, Rondebosch, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded and became a POW.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the The Buffs.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1944.¹

     Geoffrey Henry Baird lived at Goodnestone, Kent, England^G.¹

     Maude Helen May Baird was born circa 1921.² She was the daughter of Geoffrey Henry Baird.³ She married Major Peter Bridges Plumptre, son of George Beresford Plumptre and Mary Augusta Plumptre, in 1944.¹ She died on 22 August 2015.²
     From 1944, her married name became Plumptre.

     Timothy George Plumptre was born on 29 April 1945.¹ He is the son of Major Peter Bridges Plumptre and Maude Helen May Baird.² He married Christine Hamilton in 1975.¹

     Christine Hamilton married Timothy George Plumptre, son of Major Peter Bridges Plumptre and Maude Helen May Baird, in 1975.¹
     From 1975, her married name became Plumptre.

     Peter Hamilton Plumptre was born in 1980.¹ He is the son of Timothy George Plumptre and Christine Hamilton.²
