     Lt.-Gen. Frederick William Buller was born on 3 October 1773 at St. Martin in the Field, Westminster, London, England^G.² He was the son of John Buller and Elizabeth Caroline Hunter.^1,2 He married Elizabeth Charlotte Tomkyns, daughter of George Tomkyns, on 6 April 1795.² He died on 5 November 1855 at age 82.¹ He was buried on 8 November 1855 at Kensal Green Cemetery, London, England.²

     John Buller was baptised on 24 January 1721 at Morval, Cornwall, England.^1,2 He was the son of John Francis Buller and Rebecca Trelawny.^1,3 He married, firstly, Mary St. Aubyn, daughter of Sir John St. Aubyn, 3rd Bt. and Catharine Morice, on 31 March 1760.^4,3 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Caroline Hunter on 4 November 1768.³ He died on 26 July 1786 at age 65.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Looe.³ He held the office of Lord of the Treasury.³ He held the office of Lord of the Admiralty.³ He lived at Morral, England^G.⁴

     Isabella Mary Read was the daughter of William Macartney Read.¹ She married Reverend Henry George Fox-Strangways, son of Reverend Henry Fox-Strangways and Charlotte Chester Copleston, on 15 September 1903.¹ She died on 11 May 1937.¹
     From 15 September 1903, her married name became Fox-Strangways.¹
