     Sir Edmond Cecil Philipson-Stow, 4th Bt. was born on 25 August 1912.¹ He was the son of Sir Elliot Philipson Philipson-Stow, 2nd Bt. and Edith Maud Gore Pery-Knox-Gore.² He died on 14 June 1982 at age 69, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Philipson-Stow, of Lodsworth, Sussex [U.K., 1907] on 9 January 1976.¹

     Henrietta Macdonald was born circa 1820 at Sydenham, Surrey, England.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Sir George Buller, son of Lt.-Gen. Frederick William Buller and Elizabeth Charlotte Tomkyns, in 1855 at Hexham, Northumberland, England.¹ She died in 1881 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹
     From 1855, her married name became Buller.¹

     Charlotte Amelia Buller was baptised on 25 December 1801 at Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Frederick William Buller and Elizabeth Charlotte Tomkyns.¹

     Agnes Mary Ann Buller was born on 6 September 1810.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Frederick William Buller and Elizabeth Charlotte Tomkyns.¹ She was baptised on 27 September 1810 at St. Mary, St. Marylebone, London, England.¹

     Margaret Aileen Philipson-Stow was born on 25 August 1912.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Elliot Philipson Philipson-Stow, 2nd Bt. and Edith Maud Gore Pery-Knox-Gore.²

     Robert Frederic Philipson Philipson-Stow was born on 8 March 1878.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederic Samuel Philipson Philipson-Stow, 1st Bt. and Florence Henchman Hewitt.² He married, firstly, Fernande Dieuset, daughter of Marc Dieuset, in 1906.¹ He married, secondly, Hélène Marguerite Dieuset on 20 April 1922.¹ He died on 3 June 1949 at age 71, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Leyden University, Leyden, The Netherlands^G.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1905 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹

     Marc Dieuset lived at Paris, France.¹

     Fernande Dieuset was the daughter of Marc Dieuset.² She married Robert Frederic Philipson Philipson-Stow, son of Sir Frederic Samuel Philipson Philipson-Stow, 1st Bt. and Florence Henchman Hewitt, in 1906.¹ She died on 22 May 1920.¹
     From 1906, her married name became Philipson-Stow.¹

     Sir Charles Frederick Arden-Close was born on 10 August 1865 at St. Saviours, Jersey, Channel Islands.¹ He was the son of Major Frederick Close and Lydia Ann Stevens.¹ He married Gladys Violet Percival, daughter of Theodore Henry Percival, in 1913.² He died in 1952.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1918.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1919.² He was a surveyor and geogrpaher.¹

     Gladys Violet Percival was the daughter of Theodore Henry Percival.¹ She married Sir Charles Frederick Arden-Close, son of Major Frederick Close and Lydia Ann Stevens, in 1913.¹ She died in 1953.¹
     From 1913, her married name became Arden-Close.¹
