Sir Reginald Macleod, 27th of MacLeod1 

Sir Reginald Macleod, 27th of MacLeod was born on 1 February 1847.3 He was the son of Norman Macleod, 25th of MacLeod and Hon. Louisa Barbara St. John.3 He married Lady Agnes Mary Cecilia Northcote, daughter of Stafford Henry Northcote, 1st Earl of Iddesleigh and Cecilia Frances Farrer, on 17 April 1877.3 He died on 20 August 1935 at age 88.3
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.3 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He was Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer in Scotland between 1889 and 1900.3 He held the office of Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages in England between 1900 and 1902.3 He held the office of Under-Secretary for Scotland between 1902 and 1909.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1905.3 He lived in 1911 at Vinters Park, Maidstone, Kent, EnglandG.4 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 29 November 1928.3
