     Edwin Brooke Cely Trevilian was born on 11 May 1833 at Exeter, Devon, England.^1,2 He was the son of Major Maurice Cely Trevilian and Charlotte Portal.¹ He married Kate Sedley F. Carter in 1880 at Kensington, London, England.² He died on 24 March 1914 at age 80.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1902.² He lived at Midelney Place, Drayton, Somerset, England.²

     Emilia Harrison Jesse was the daughter of John Jesse.¹ She married William Cely Trevilian on 9 June 1792.¹ She died on 13 December 1831.¹
     From 9 June 1792, her married name became Cely Trevilian.¹
