Ralph de Cromwell, 3rd Lord Cromwell1 
He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1422.1 He was a suspected Yorkist.1 He held the office of Lord High Treasurer between 1433 and 1443.1 He was Master of the King’s Mews and Falcons in 1436.1 In 1440 he founded of the college of Tattershall and built the Castle there.1 On his death, the Barony fell into abeyance (according to later doctrine) between his two nieces and coheirs.1
