     From before 1847, her married name became Palmer.¹ From 30 July 1847, her married name became Crofton.

     Marie Jeanne Muloin is the daughter of Joseph Muloin.¹ She married, firstly, S/Ldr. Oliver J. Gaboury before 1951.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Desmond Crofton, son of Arthur Molesworth Crofton and Gwendolyn Forrest, in 1951.¹
     From before 1951, her married name became Gaboury.¹ From 1951, her married name became Crofton.¹

     Major James Logan Ellis was the son of James Walter Ellis.¹ He married Marianne Gertrude Wingrove, daughter of Drummond B. Wingrove, on 31 August 1905.¹ He died on 9 March 1936.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Crofton was born circa 1850 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² She was the daughter of Reverend Morgan Crofton and Rebecca Barrett.³ She married John Henry Augustus Schneider, son of Henry William Schneider and Augusta Smith, on 20 July 1870 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.² She died on 19 May 1913.¹
     From 20 July 1870, her married name became Schneider.

     Henry William Schneider was born on 12 May 1817 at Edmonton, London, England^G.² He was baptised on 9 July 1817 at Weld Chapel, Southgate, London, England^G.² He married, firstly, Augusta Smith, daughter of Richard Smith and Rachel Anne Bennett, in 1842 at Ulverston, Lancashire, England^G.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Turner, daughter of Reverend Joseph Turner and Ellen Grigson, in 1864 at Lancaster, Lancashire, England^G.² He died in 1887 at Kendal, Westmorland, England^G.²
     He lived at Furness, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     John Henry Augustus Schneider was born on 28 June 1843 at Marylebone, London, England^G.² He was the son of Henry William Schneider and Augusta Smith.^3,2 He was baptised on 26 July 1843 at St. Mary’s Church, Marylebone, London, England^G.² He married Mary Elizabeth Crofton, daughter of Reverend Morgan Crofton and Rebecca Barrett, on 20 July 1870 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.² He died in 1912 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.²
     He lived at Oak Lea, Furness Abbey, Lancashire, England.⁴

     Lt.-Col. James Crofton was born in May 1826.¹ He was the son of Captain Morgan Crofton and Helen Elizabeth O’Hara.² He married, firstly, Mary Susan Montgomery, daughter of Sir Robert Montgomery and Frances Mary Thomason, on 1 March 1858 at Lahore, Pakistan.^1,3 He married, secondly, Clara Elizabeth Lake, daughter of Captain Edward Lake and Clara Johnston, on 5 March 1867 at Lahore, Pakistan.^1,3 He died on 22 November 1908 at age 82.¹
     He was educated at Honourable East India Company College, Addiscombe, London, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹ He lived at Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Sir Robert Montgomery was born on 2 December 1809.² He is the son of Reverend Samuel Law Montgomery and Susanna Maria McClintock.² He married, firstly, Frances Mary Thomason, daughter of Reverend T. T. Thomason, on 17 December 1834 at Mahomedabad Azinghur, Pakistan.³ He married, secondly, Ellen Jane Lambert on 2 May 1845.² He died on 28 December 1887 at age 78.²
     He took control of Lahore in the Indian Mutiny, for which he was knighted and received the thanks of Parliament.² He held the office of Member, Council of India.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1859.² He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Punjab between 1859 and 1865.² He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Star of India (G.C.S.I.) in 1866.²
