Canon of Manchester in 1853.¹

     Ellen Grigson was born on 21 February 1804 at Lancaster, Lancashire, England.² She was the daughter of Samuel Grigson and Bella (?)² She was baptised on 24 March 1804 at St. Mary’s, Lancaster, Lancashire, England.² She married Reverend Joseph Turner, son of Joseph B. Turner.¹

     Joseph Kirby Turner was born on 28 June 1834 at Frodsham, Cheshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend Joseph Turner and Ellen Grigson.¹ He married Theresa Caroline Browne, daughter of Reverend James Caulfeild Browne and Isabella Mello, on 26 November 1867 at Parish Church, Dudley, England^G.² He died on 1 October 1902 at age 68.³

     From 26 November 1867, her married name became Turner.¹
