     Gilbert Gilbey was born in 1874.¹ He was the son of Alfred Gilbey and Agnes Crosbie.² He married Edith Mary Barwick, daughter of Sir John Storey Barwick, 1st Bt. and Margaret Short, on 24 April 1901.¹ He died on 24 October 1933.¹
     He lived at Overthorpe Hall, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Sir John Storey Barwick, 1st Bt. was born on 23 February 1840.² He was the son of William Barwick and Mary Storey.² He married Margaret Short, daughter of George Short, on 17 September 1872.² He died on 12 August 1915 at age 75.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Barwick, of Ashbrooke Grange, Sunderland [U.K.] on 1 February 1912.²

     Edith Mary Barwick was the daughter of Sir John Storey Barwick, 1st Bt. and Margaret Short.^2,3 She married Gilbert Gilbey, son of Alfred Gilbey and Agnes Crosbie, on 24 April 1901.¹ She died on 7 June 1954.¹
     From 24 April 1901, her married name became Gilbey.

     John Gilbert Gilbey was born in 1917.¹ He was the son of Gilbert Gilbey and Edith Mary Barwick.² He married Angela Ruth Barwick, daughter of George Short Barwick and Marianne Marshall, on 21 January 1947.¹ He died on 12 December 1982.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Berkshire in 1972.¹

     George Herbert Croft is the son of Henry Herbert Stephen Croft.¹ He married Ella Martha Barwick, daughter of Sir John Storey Barwick, 1st Bt. and Margaret Short, on 29 April 1914.¹

     Angela Ruth Barwick was born in 1916.² She is the daughter of George Short Barwick and Marianne Marshall.^3,2 She married John Gilbert Gilbey, son of Gilbert Gilbey and Edith Mary Barwick, on 21 January 1947.¹
     From 21 January 1947, her married name became Gilbey.

     Christopher John Barwick Gilbey was born on 13 July 1949.¹ He was the son of John Gilbert Gilbey and Angela Ruth Barwick.² He died on 7 January 1983 at age 33, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Arabella Clare Gilbey was born on 14 July 1953.¹ She is the daughter of John Gilbert Gilbey and Angela Ruth Barwick.² She married, firstly, Thomas Charles Blackwell, son of Thomas Francis Blackwell, on 16 July 1977.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Mark Sidney Andrew Agar, son of Edward John Sidney Christian Welbore Ellis Agar, 5th Earl of Normanton and Lady Fiona Pratt, on 8 February 1985.²
     From 16 July 1977, her married name became Blackwell. From 8 February 1985, her married name became Agar.³

     Edward Hastings, 1st and last Baron Hastings of Loughborough was born circa 1520.¹ He was the son of George Hastings, 1st Earl of Huntingdon and Lady Anne Stafford.¹ He married Joan Harrington, daughter of John Harrington, circa 1544.¹ He died on 5 March 1571/72, without legitimate issue.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire from February 1522/23 to March 1522/23.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicester between 1545 and 1547.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1547.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicestershire between 1547 and 1552.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Leicestershire from 1550 to 1551.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Warwickshire from 1550 to 1551.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Middlesex between 1553 and 1555.¹ He was Master of the Horse to Queen Mary between 1553 and 1557.¹ He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1555.¹ He held the office of Chamberlain to the Household from 1557 to 1558.¹ He was created 1st Baron Hastings of Loughborough [England] on 19 January 1557/58.¹

     Thomas Charles Blackwell is the son of Thomas Francis Blackwell.² He married Arabella Clare Gilbey, daughter of John Gilbert Gilbey and Angela Ruth Barwick, on 16 July 1977.¹
