     Sir John Jaffray, 1st Bt. was born on 11 October 1818.¹ He was the son of John Jaffray and Agnes Wilson.² He married Anna Munton, daughter of William Munton, on 12 February 1850.¹ He died on 4 January 1901 at age 82.¹
     He was founder and owner of the Birmingham Daily Post in 1855.¹ He was founder and chairman of the Birmingham Joint Stock Bank.¹ He was founder of the Jaffray Chronic Hospital.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1888.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Jaffray, of Skilts, co. Warwick [U.K.] on 8 October 1892.¹ He lived at Park Grove, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.¹ He lived at Skilts, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Worcestershire.¹

     William Munton lived at Bourne, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Anna Munton was the daughter of William Munton.² She married Sir John Jaffray, 1st Bt., son of John Jaffray and Agnes Wilson, on 12 February 1850.¹ She died on 20 February 1893.¹
     From 12 February 1850, her married name became Jaffray.

     Sir William Jaffray, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 June 1852.¹ He was the son of Sir John Jaffray, 1st Bt. and Anna Munton.² He married, firstly, Mabel Augusta Scott, daughter of Sir Francis Edward Scott, 2nd/3rd Bt. and Mildred Anne Cradock-Hartopp, on 28 January 1885.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Mary Galloway, daughter of Francis Galloway, on 11 May 1889.¹ He died on 27 November 1914 at age 62.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Warwickshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Warwickshire.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Jaffray, of Skilts, co. Warwick [U.K., 1892] on 4 January 1901.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1906.¹

     Anne Paget is the daughter of Captain John Otho Paget.¹ She married, firstly, Sir John Godfrey Worsley-Taylor, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir James Worsley-Taylor, 2nd Bt. and Audrey Frances Philipson Philipson-Stow, before 1950.¹ She and Sir John Godfrey Worsley-Taylor, 3rd Bt. were divorced before October 1950.² She married, secondly, Colonel Sir William Edmund Jaffray, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Jaffray, 2nd Bt. and Alice Mary Galloway, on 11 October 1950.¹
     She wrote the book Memories of the Shires.¹ From before 1950, her married name became Worsley-Taylor.¹ From 11 October 1950, her married name became Jaffray.¹ She held the office of Member of the Hampshire County Council between 1964 and 1980.¹ She lived in 2003 at Flat A9 Sloane Avenue Mansions, Sloane Avenue, London, England^G.¹

     Sir John Godfrey Worsley-Taylor, 3rd Bt. was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir James Worsley-Taylor, 2nd Bt. and Audrey Frances Philipson Philipson-Stow. He married Anne Paget, daughter of Captain John Otho Paget, before 1950.¹ He and Anne Paget were divorced before October 1950.² He died in July 1952.²
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Worsley-Taylor.

     Captain John Otho Paget was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ Captain John Otho Paget usually went by his middle name of Otho.¹

     John Jardine is the son of John Jardine of Applegirth and Margaret Douglas.¹

     Margaret Douglas is the daughter of Sir James Douglas, 7th of Drumlanrig and Margaret Douglas.¹ A contract for the marriage of Margaret Douglas and John Jardine of Applegirth was signed on 4 August 1543.²
     From 4 August 1543, her married name became Jardine.²
