In 1756 at Leixlip, County Kildare, IrelandG, he founded the family brewery business.2 In 1759 at St. James’s Gate, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, he moved the brewery on a 9,000 year lease.2 In 1759 he purchased St. James’s Gate Brewery from Mark Rainsford.3 He lived at Beaumont, County Dublin, IrelandG.2
