     Samuel Guinness was born circa 1727.¹ He was the son of Richard Guinness and Elizabeth Read.² He married Sarah Jago, daughter of Henry Jago, on 6 August 1753.¹ He died on 24 January 1795.¹ He was also reported to have died on 3 February 1795.¹
     He was a goldbeater at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Sarah Jago is the daughter of Henry Jago.¹ She married Samuel Guinness, son of Richard Guinness and Elizabeth Read, on 6 August 1753.¹ She died in August 1794.²
     From 6 August 1753, her married name became Guinness.

     Richard Guinness was born on 6 September 1755.² He was the son of Samuel Guinness and Sarah Jago.³ He married Mary Darley, daughter of John Darley, on 25 September 1783.¹ He died on 10 September 1829 at age 74.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹ In 1802 Freeman of Dublin.²
