     From 31 August 1848, her married name became Fortescue. From 1875, her married name became Irvine-Fortescue.¹

     William Archer Irvine-Fortescue was born on 5 April 1851.¹ He was the son of Archer Irvine-Fortescue and Anne Irvine Syme.² He married Edith Virginia Duguid, daughter of John Robert Duguid, on 18 April 1877.¹ He died on 10 March 1941 at age 89.¹
