     Katherine Helen Isobel Irvine-Fortescue was born on 26 November 1974.¹ She is the daughter of Hugh William Irvine-Fortescue and Patricia Anne Elizabeth Dudgeon.² She married Benjamin James Whitlock on 25 October 1997.¹

     Edith Caroline Irvine-Fortescue was born on 28 May 1921.¹ She is the daughter of Reverend John Faithful Irvine-Fortescue and Anne Souter.²
     She graduated from University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G, in 1942 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ She lived in 2003 at 5 Seton Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Grenville Irvine-Fortescue was born on 26 May 1897.¹ He was the son of William Archer Irvine-Fortescue and Edith Virginia Duguid.² He married, firstly, Joan Evelyn Mary Powell, daughter of Henry Sydney Powell, on 9 August 1921.¹ He and Joan Evelyn Mary Powell were divorced in 1929.¹ He married, secondly, Kathleen Sheila Bennett-Jones, daughter of William James Bennett-Jones, on 28 August 1941.² He died in 1980.²
     He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916 and bar (1919.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Joan Evelyn Mary Powell is the daughter of Henry Sydney Powell.² She married Lt.-Col. William Grenville Irvine-Fortescue, son of William Archer Irvine-Fortescue and Edith Virginia Duguid, on 9 August 1921.¹ She and Lt.-Col. William Grenville Irvine-Fortescue were divorced in 1929.¹
     From 9 August 1921, her married name became Irvine-Fortescue.¹

     Major Henry Irvine-Fortescue was born on 11 July 1922.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Grenville Irvine-Fortescue and Joan Evelyn Mary Powell.² He married, firstly, Bridget Unity Awdry, daughter of Colonel Edmund Portman Awdry, on 5 May 1951 at Chippenham, Wiltshire, England.^1,3 He married, secondly, Anne van Gruisen in 1983.¹ He and Anne van Gruisen were divorced in 1987.¹ He died on 15 February 2014 at age 91 at Delph, Saddleworth, Lancashire, England.⁴
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Royal Tank Regiment.¹ He fought in the Korean War in 1953.¹ He fought in the Malayan Emergency in 1955.¹ He fought in the Cyprus Campaign in 1957.¹ He retired from the military in 1959.¹

     Colonel Edmund Portman Awdry was born on 8 December 1892.² He married Evelyn Daphne Alexandra French, daughter of Reverend William French.²
