     She was bridesmaid at the wedding of Ewart Samuel Dalzell and Elizabeth Alice Hampton in April 1912.¹

     Margaret Cassidy was born in 1855 at County Monaghan, Ireland^G.^2,3 She was the daughter of John Cassidy and Elizabeth Bell.⁴ She married Dudley Hampton, son of Henry Hampton and Sarah Jane Mullen, on 24 November 1877 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Hospital Corner, Christchurch, New Zealand^G, in a Presbyterian marriage.^2,5 She died on 16 March 1927 at Leeston, Canterbury, New Zealand^G.^3,4 She was buried at Ellesmere Public Cemetery, Ellesmere, Canterbury, New Zealand^G, plot 661.³
     Margaret immigrated to Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand^G, on the ship Cardigan Castle, arriving on 6 January 1877.² From 24 November 1877, her married name became Hampton.¹

     Thomas Hampton was born in 1853 at Ballywilly, Kilmore, County Armagh, Ireland^G.² He was the son of John Hampton and Jane Gray.³ He married Sarah Jane Hampton, daughter of Henry Hampton and Sarah Jane Mullen, in 1878.^1,4 He died on 17 July 1929.⁵ He was buried at Ashburton Public Cemetery, Old Section, Ashburton, New Zealand^G, plot 223.⁵
