     William immigrated to Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand^G, on the ship Blue Jacket, arriving on 3 August 1867.² He was a farmer after 1876 at Lauriston, Canterbury, New Zealand^G.²

     Mary Theresa Lechie married William Hampton, son of Benjamin Hampton and Alice Lechie.¹
