     Edward Astley was born in January 1799.¹ He was the son of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne.¹ He died on 4 April 1846 at age 47.¹

     Anne Astley was the daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne.¹ She married Thomas Potter Macqueen, son of Dr. Malcolm Macqueen and Mariana Potter, in 1820.¹ She died in 1833 at France^G.^1,2
     Her married name became Macqueen.

     Thomas Potter Macqueen was born in 1791 at Segenhoe Manor, Ridgmont, Bedfordshire, England^G.² He was the son of Dr. Malcolm Macqueen and Mariana Potter.² He married Anne Astley, daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne, in 1820.¹ He died on 31 March 1854 at Queen’s Hotel, Oswestry, Shropshire, England^G, from apoplexy.² His will was proven (by probate) on 22 March 1856.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Looe between 1816 and 1826.^1,2 He lived at Ridgemont, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹ His last will was dated 1820.² In 1824 he established a 20,000 acre property in the Hunter District, New South Wales, through a remote manager.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedfordshire between 1826 and 1830.² Before 1845 he travelled to Australia to (unsuccessfully) rescue his property venture there.² He lived at Caen, France^G.²

     Editha Astley was born on 17 June 1793 at Melton Constable, Norfolk, England^G.² She was the daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne.¹ She married Warden George Sergison, son of Reverend William Saint Sergison and Anne Sergison, on 23 March 1825 at St. Mary-le-Bone Church, Ipswich, Suffolk, England^G.^3,1 She died on 27 March 1871 at age 77 at Derbyshire, England^G.²
     From 23 March 1825, her married name became Sergison.²

     Warden George Sergison was born on 6 April 1801.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Saint Sergison and Anne Sergison.¹ He married Editha Astley, daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne, on 23 March 1825 at St. Mary-le-Bone Church, Ipswich, Suffolk, England^G.^3,2 He died on 22 May 1868 at age 67 at Marylebone, London, England^G.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.⁴ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex.⁴ He lived at Cuckfield Park, Cuckfield, Haywards Heath, Sussex, England^G.²

     Hester Astley was the daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne.¹ She married Reverend Augustus Dashwood, son of Sir Henry Watkin Dashwood, 3rd Bt. and Mary Helen Graham, on 16 June 1825.² She died on 31 August 1867.¹
     Her married name became Dashwood.

     Reverend Augustus Dashwood was born on 25 February 1795.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Watkin Dashwood, 3rd Bt. and Mary Helen Graham.² He married Hester Astley, daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne, on 16 June 1825.¹ He died on 12 July 1863 at age 68.¹
     He was the Rector at Thornage, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Agnes Astley was the daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne.¹ She married Reverend John Henry Sparke, son of Rt. Rev. unknown Sparke, in September 1825.¹ She died on 30 July 1872.¹
     Her married name became Sparke.

     Reverend John Henry Sparke was the son of Rt. Rev. unknown Sparke.¹ He married Agnes Astley, daughter of Sir Jacob Henry Astley, 5th Bt. and Hester Browne, in September 1825.¹ He died before 1872.¹
     He held the office of Canon of Ely Cathedral.¹ He was the Rector at Gunthorpe, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Rt. Rev. unknown Sparke held the office of Bishop of Ely.¹
