Kenneth Grahame1 

Kenneth Grahame was born in 1859 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He married Elspeth S. Thomson, daughter of Robert William Thomson and Clara Hertz, in 1899 at St. Austell, Cornwall, England.1 He died in 1932.2 He was buried at Holywell Cemetery, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2
He was Secretary of the Bank of England in 1908.2 He wrote the book The Wind In the Willows, published 1908.2

He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1898 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Garrison artillery.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wiltshire, Salisbury Division between 1923 and 1924.1
