     Sir Charles Shirley, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 September 1623.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Shirley, 2nd Bt. and Lady Dorothy Devereux.² He died on 7 June 1646 at age 22, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Shirley, of Staunton Harold [E., 1611] on 8 February 1632/33.¹

     Catherine Okeover was the daughter of Humphrey Okeover.² She married Sir Robert Shirley, 4th Bt., son of Sir Henry Shirley, 2nd Bt. and Lady Dorothy Devereux.¹ She died on 18 October 1672.¹

     Lawrence Washington was born circa 1500.¹ He was the son of John Washington and Margaret Kytson.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth (?) in 1530.¹ He married, secondly, Amy Pargiter, daughter of Robert Pargiter and Anne Knight.¹ He died on 19 February 1584.¹ He was buried at Sulgrave Manor, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹
     He was educated at Gray’s Inn, London, England^G.¹ He was Bailiff before 1529 at Warton, Lancashire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Northampton in 1532.¹ He lived at Sulgrave Manor, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Northampton in 1535.¹

     Lawrence Washington is the son of Lawrence Washington and Amy Pargiter.¹ He married Martha Newce, daughter of Clement Newce, on 31 January 1578.¹
     He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1567 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Gray’s Inn in 1582 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Bencher of Gray’s Inn in 1599.¹ He held the office of Registrar of the High Court of Chancery.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone between 1604 and 1611.¹

     Sir Robert Shirley, 6th Bt. was born posthumously in January 1667/68.¹ He was the son of Sir Seymour Shirley, 5th Bt. and Lady Diana Bruce.² He died circa 8 March 1708/9.¹ He was buried on 11 March 1708/9.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Shirley, of Staunton Harold [E., 1611] in January 1667/68.¹
