He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1603 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.1 On 1 March 1610 he bought the reversion of Sulgrave Manor.1 He held the office of Registrar of the High Court of Chancery.1
