     Isabella Whichcote was the daughter of Sir Thomas Whichcote, 7th Bt. and Isabella Elizabeth Montgomery.1,2 She married Brownlow Henry George Cecil, 4th Marquess of Exeter, son of William Alleyne Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Exeter and Lady Georgina Sophia Pakenham, on 7 September 1875.1 She died on 12 July 1917.1
     From 7 September 1875, her married name became Cecil.1 After her marriage, Isabella Whichcote was styled as Marchioness of Exeter on 14 July 1895.

     Sir Thomas Whichcote, 7th Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Whichcote, 6th Bt. and Lady Sophia Sherard.2 He married Marianne Beckett, daughter of Henry Beckett and Mary Lyle, on 10 July 1839.3 He married Isabella Elizabeth Montgomery, daughter of Colonel Sir Henry Conyngham Montgomery, 1st Bt. and Sarah Mercer Grove, on 25 March 1856.2 He died on 17 January 1892.3
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Whichcote, of the Inner Temple, London [E., 1660] on 23 August 1829.3
