     Colonel Lord John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil was born on 3 March 1867.¹ He was the son of William Alleyne Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Exeter and Lady Georgina Sophia Pakenham.¹ He married Isabella Maud Joicey, daughter of Colonel John Joicey, on 15 September 1896.¹ He died on 25 June 1942 at age 75.¹
     He was given the name of John Pakenham Cecil at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.¹ In 1898 his name was legally changed to John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil by Royal Licence.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 8th Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 1st Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the Soke of Peterborough.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stamford between 1906 and 1910.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Royal Defence Corps.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment.¹ He lived at Highfield, Andover, Hampshire, England.²

     Isabella Maud Joicey was the daughter of Colonel John Joicey.¹ She married Colonel Lord John Pakenham Joicey-Cecil, son of William Alleyne Cecil, 3rd Marquess of Exeter and Lady Georgina Sophia Pakenham, on 15 September 1896.¹ She died on 18 November 1949.¹
     From 15 September 1896, her married name became Joicey-Cecil.¹

Sir John Noble Kennedy, son of Reverend James Kennedy, on 21 September 1926.¹ She died on 22 September 1941 at age 40.¹
     From 21 September 1926, her married name became Kennedy.¹
