     Mary Synge is the daughter of Rt. Rev. Edward Synge and Barbara Latham.^1,2 She and Commander Bryan Townsend obtained a marriage license on 13 May 1682.^1,3
     From 13 May 1682, her married name became Townsend.¹

     Rt. Rev. Edward Synge was baptised on 14 August 1614.² He was the son of Richard Synge and Alice Rowley.² He married Barbara Latham, daughter of William Latham.² He died on 22 December 1677 at age 63.²
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)² He held the office of Bishop of Ardfert in 1661.¹ He held the office of Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross in 1663.¹

     Katherine Barry was the daughter of Colonel James Barry and Suzanna Townsend.¹ She married John Townsend, son of Commander Bryan Townsend and Mary Synge.¹ She died on 20 December 1754.¹
     Her married name became Townsend.

     Colonel James Barry married Suzanna Townsend, daughter of John Townsend and Lady Catherine Barry.¹
     He had two sons and one other daughter.¹ He lived at Lisnagar, Ireland^G.¹ He was also known as M’Adam Barry.¹ He lived at Rathcormack, Ireland^G.¹

     Suzanna Townsend is the daughter of John Townsend and Lady Catherine Barry.² She married Colonel James Barry.¹
     Her married name became Barry.¹

     Barbara Hungerford married John Becher, son of Henry Becher and Catherine Owen, on 4 February 1769 at Ross Cathedral, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
     She lived at Cagherimore, Ireland^G.¹ From 4 February 1769, her married name became Becher.¹

     Richard O’Donovan, The O’Donovan is the son of Colonel Daniel O’Donovan, The O’Donovan and Elizabeth Tonson.² He married Elinor FitzGerald, daughter of John FitzGerald, 13th Knight of Kerry and Honora O’Brien, in 1703.¹
     He held the position of Chief of the Clan Cathal from in 1705.²

     Elinor FitzGerald is the daughter of John FitzGerald, 13th Knight of Kerry and Honora O’Brien.² She married Richard O’Donovan, The O’Donovan, son of Colonel Daniel O’Donovan, The O’Donovan and Elizabeth Tonson, in 1703.¹
     From 1703, her married name became O’Donovan.¹

     George Finch married Letitia Hungerford Becher, daughter of John Becher and Susanna Hungerford, in 1842.¹
