     Richard Henry Hedges Becher was born circa 1799 at Hollybrook, Abbeystrowry, County Cork, Ireland^G.² He was the son of John Becher and Susanna Hungerford.¹ He married, firstly, Melian O’Donovan, daughter of Reverend Morgan O’Donovan, The O’Donovan and Alicia Jones, on 12 February 1839 at Douglas, County Cork, Ireland^G, in a childless marriage.^1,2 He married, secondly, Mary Hungerford Somerville, daughter of Richard Neville Somerville, on 2 August 1861 at St. Finbarr, County Cork, Ireland^G, in a childless marriage.^1,2 He died on 2 September 1882 at Lakelands, County Cork, Ireland^G.² He was buried on 5 September 1882 at Aughadown, Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland^G.²
     He lived at Hollybrook, Abbeystrowry, County Cork, Ireland^G, which he passed to his cousin John Richard Hedges Becher.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Ross.¹ He lived at Lakelands, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.¹

     Melian O’Donovan was born on 25 November 1797.² She was the daughter of Reverend Morgan O’Donovan, The O’Donovan and Alicia Jones.^1,3 She married Richard Henry Hedges Becher, son of John Becher and Susanna Hungerford, on 12 February 1839 at Douglas, County Cork, Ireland^G, in a childless marriage.^1,2 She died on 28 May 1859 at age 61, without issue.¹
     From 12 February 1839, her married name became Becher.¹

     Stuart Hay Donaldson was born on 12 December 1888 at Beington, Cheshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Hay Frederick Donaldson and Selina Beresford.¹ He married an unknown person on 22 September 1920.¹ He died on 19 October 1921 at age 32.¹

     Mary Hungerford Somerville was the daughter of Richard Neville Somerville.² She married Richard Henry Hedges Becher, son of John Becher and Susanna Hungerford, on 2 August 1861 at St. Finbarr, County Cork, Ireland^G, in a childless marriage.^1,2
