Alexander Knox on 22 November 1817 at Rewarrie^G.^1,2 She died circa May 1822, in pregnancy.² She was buried on 28 May 1822.²
     From 22 November 1817, her married name became Graham.¹

     Lt.-Col. Alexander Knox married Maria Becher, daughter of John Harman Becher and Harriet Cowper, on 22 November 1817 at Rewarrie^G.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Native Cavalry.¹

     Harriet Becher was born on 30 August 1790.² She was the daughter of John Harman Becher and Harriet Cowper.¹ She was baptised on 24 March 1791.² She married Captain Allan Graham on 16 February 1810.²
     From 16 February 1810, her married name became Graham.²

     Ellen FitzGerald is the daughter of Gerald FitzJames FitzGerald, 14th Earl of Desmond.¹ She married Edmund Butler, 3rd/13th Baron Dunboyne, son of Hon. John Butler and Joan FitzPatrick.¹
     Her married name became Butler.¹

     Frances Scott was born circa 1778 at Kingston, Jamaica^G.² She was the daughter of Reverend J. Scott.¹ She married Captain William Alexander Becher, son of Commander John Becher and Anne Haysham, in 1793.^1,2 She died in 1859 at Tunham Green, Hampshire, England^G.²
     From 1793, her married name became Becher.¹

     Reverend J. Scott was the Rector at Port Jamaica^G.¹

     Admiral Alexander Bridgport Becher was born on 12 June 1796.^1,2 He was the son of Captain William Alexander Becher and Frances Scott.¹ He married Anne Harriet Thorne, daughter of Thomas Thorne, in 1824 at Bloomsbury, London, England^G.^1,2 He died on 15 February 1876 at age 79 at 46 Upper Gloucester Place, Dorset Square, London, England^G.² He died intestate and his estate was administered to his widow on 25 March 1876.²
     He was educated in April 1810 at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.² He gained the rank of Midshipman on 28 November 1812 in the Royal Navy.²

     Anne Harriet Thorne was the daughter of Thomas Thorne.² She married Admiral Alexander Bridgport Becher, son of Captain William Alexander Becher and Frances Scott, in 1824 at Bloomsbury, London, England^G.^1,2 She died on 10 March 1882 at The Palace, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England^G.²
     From 1824, her married name became Becher.¹

     Constantia Ann Becher was born in 1827 at Marylebone, London, England^G.^3,2 She was the daughter of Admiral Alexander Bridgport Becher and Anne Harriet Thorne.³ She married Rt. Rev Charles John Ellicott on 31 July 1848 at St. Marylebone Parish Church, St. Marylebone, London, England^G.^3,2 She died in 1914 at Marylebone, London, England^G.²
     From 31 July 1848, her married name became Ellicott.³

     Rt. Rev Charles John Ellicott was born in 1820 at Whitwell, Rutland, England^G.² He married Constantia Ann Becher, daughter of Admiral Alexander Bridgport Becher and Anne Harriet Thorne, on 31 July 1848 at St. Marylebone Parish Church, St. Marylebone, London, England^G.^1,2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He held the office of Bishop of Gloucester.¹ He was among the revisers of the New Testament.¹
