     John Esmonde was the son of Sir James Esmonde, 7th Bt. and Ellice White.² He married Helen O’Callan, daughter of Bartholomew O’Callan.³ He died on 13 June 1798, killed in the Uprising.³
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Margaret Josephine Gibson was the daughter of William Gibson.¹ She married John Harold-Barry, son of John Harold-Barry and Eliza Harrison, in October 1860.¹ She died in 1922.¹
     From October 1860, her married name became Harold-Barry.¹

     William Gibson lived at Roebuck, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Belvedere Place, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     John Harold-Barry was born in 1863.¹ He was the son of John Harold-Barry and Margaret Josephine Gibson.¹ He died in 1864.¹

     Harold Philip Harold-Barry was born on 19 November 1865.¹ He was the son of John Harold-Barry and Margaret Josephine Gibson.¹ He married Helen Frances Mary Riddell, daughter of John Gerard Riddell and Catherine Flora Chaloner, on 30 April 1895.¹ He died on 17 November 1944 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Prior Park College, Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He lived at Ballyvonare House, Buttevant, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     William John Harold-Barry was born on 8 September 1870.¹ He was the son of John Harold-Barry and Margaret Josephine Gibson.¹ He died on 2 February 1896 at age 25 at Krugersdorp, Transvaal, South Africa^G, from wounds received in action.¹
     He fought in the Boer War, with the Royal Munster Fusiliers.¹

     Richard Harold-Barry was born in 1871.¹ He was the son of John Harold-Barry and Margaret Josephine Gibson.¹ He died in 1871.¹

     Reverend Edward Daniel Harold-Barry was born on 31 August 1872.¹ He was the son of John Harold-Barry and Margaret Josephine Gibson.¹ He died on 3 January 1950 at age 77, unmarried.¹

     Philip Harold-Barry was born on 14 March 1875.¹ He was the son of John Harold-Barry and Margaret Josephine Gibson.¹ He died on 26 July 1940 at age 65, unmarried.¹
