     Bridget Macdonnell was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Charles MacDonnell and Bridget Bayly.¹ She married William Henry Armstrong, son of Rt. Hon. John Armstrong and Letitia Greene, on 7 April 1809.¹ She died on 20 October 1860.¹
     From 7 April 1809, her married name became Armstrong.¹

     Fisher Dilke was born after 1631.¹ He was the son of Fisher Dilke and Sybyl Wentworth.¹ He died, unmarried.¹

     Lieutenant John Heaton-Armstrong was born on 1 May 1815.¹ He was the son of William Henry Armstrong and Bridget Macdonnell.² He married Josephine Thérèse Mayr-Melnhof, daughter of unknown Mayr-Melnhof, 1st Baron, on 29 May 1849 at HBM Embassy, Vienna, Austria^G.¹ He died on 29 April 1891 at age 75.¹
     He was given the name of John Armstrong at birth.² He succeeded as the Lord of the Manor of Roscrea [feudal baron] in 1835.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Austrian chirassiers and Walmoden Dragoons.¹ He declined the honours of the Count of the Austrian Empire and of the Imperial Chamberlain.¹ His name was legally changed to John Heaton-Armstrong when he assumed the additional surname and arms of Heaton, his great grandmother’s surname, by Royal Licence.¹

     Charles William Armstrong was born on 19 April 1819 at Abbeville, France^G.¹ He was the son of William Henry Armstrong and Bridget Macdonnell.¹ He died on 31 May 1819 at Abbeville, France^G.¹

     Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell was the son of William Henry Armstrong and Bridget Macdonnell.¹ He married Hon. Juliana Cecilia O’Brien, daughter of Lucius O’Brien, 13th Baron of Inchiquin and Mary FitzGerald, on 20 July 1858.¹ He died on 11 November 1883.¹ He was also reported to have died on 14 November 1883.²
     He was given the name of William Edward Armstrong at birth.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff in 1853.¹ In 1858 his name was legally changed to Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell when he assumed the additional surname and arms of Macdonnell, (his mother’s surname), by Royal Licence.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Clare Militia.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at New Hall, Ennis, County Clare, Ireland^G.¹

     Hon. Juliana Cecilia O’Brien was the daughter of Lucius O’Brien, 13th Baron of Inchiquin and Mary FitzGerald.^1,2 She married Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell, son of William Henry Armstrong and Bridget Macdonnell, on 20 July 1858.¹ She died on 26 August 1925.¹
     From 20 July 1858, her married name became Armstrong-Macdonnell.¹

     Jane Perceval was the daughter of Spencer Perceval and Anna Eliza Macleod.¹ She married Howard Marsh on 25 August 1870.¹ She died on 24 September 1896.¹
     From 25 August 1870, her married name became Marsh.¹

     Charles Randal Armstrong-Macdonnell was born on 24 March 1862.¹ He was the son of Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell and Hon. Juliana Cecilia O’Brien.¹ He married Mary Eva Louisa Stacpoole, daughter of Richard Stacpoole and Alice Julia Westropp, on 28 March 1896.² He died on 18 October 1923 at age 61.¹
     He was a practising Barrister-at-law.¹ He was in the service of the Clare Artillery.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at New Hall, Ennis, County Clare, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Kilkee, County Clare, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Eva Louisa Stacpoole was born on 9 June 1869.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Stacpoole and Alice Julia Westropp.² She married, firstly, Edward Stewart in 1890.¹ She married, secondly, Charles Randal Armstrong-Macdonnell, son of Colonel William Edward Armstrong-Macdonnell and Hon. Juliana Cecilia O’Brien, on 28 March 1896.¹ She died on 22 November 1921 at age 52.²
     From 1890, her married name became Stewart.¹ From 28 March 1896, her married name became Armstrong-Macdonnell.²

     Richard Stacpoole was born on 19 August 1828.² He was the son of Richard John Delazouch Stacpoole and Jane Stacpoole.² He married Alice Julia Westropp, daughter of John Westropp and Georgina Wilhelmina Stamer, on 19 August 1868.² He died on 16 June 1891 at age 62.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was a practising Solicitor at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Clare.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Clare in 1864.² He was Master of the Clare Harriers.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Clare.¹ He lived at Eden Vale, County Clare, Ireland^G.¹
