     Henrietta Constance Heygate was the daughter of Sir Frederick William Heygate, 2nd Bt. and Marianne Gage.^1,2 She married, firstly, Samuel Maxwell Alexander, son of John Alexander and Margaret Maxwell, on 22 April 1884.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Edward Leonard Aspinall Heygate, son of Major Edward Nicholas Heygate and Mary Jane Hammond, on 20 July 1897.¹ She died on 21 September 1933.¹
     From 22 April 1884, her married name became Alexander.¹ From 20 July 1897, her married name became Heygate.

     Captain Edward Leonard Aspinall Heygate was born on 29 September 1858.² He was the son of Major Edward Nicholas Heygate and Mary Jane Hammond.^1,3 He married Henrietta Constance Heygate, daughter of Sir Frederick William Heygate, 2nd Bt. and Marianne Gage, on 20 July 1897.¹ He died on 26 December 1922 at age 64.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal West Kent Regiment.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire.¹ He lived at Buckland, Leominster, Herefordshire, England^G.²

     Major Edward Nicholas Heygate was born on 23 June 1827.² He was the son of Sir William Heygate, 1st Bt. and Isabella Mackmurdo.^1,3 He married Mary Jane Hammond, daughter of John Leonard Hammond, on 24 September 1857.² He died on 30 May 1896 at age 68.²
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.² He was Honorary Major in the service of the Royal Engineers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He lived at Buckland, Leominster, Herefordshire, England^G.¹

     Sir William Heygate, 1st Bt. was born on 24 June 1782.¹ He was the son of James Heygate and Sarah Unwin.² He married Isabella Mackmurdo, daughter of Edward Longdon Mackmurdo, on 19 May 1821.¹ He died on 28 August 1844 at age 62.¹
     He held the office of Alderman of London.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London in 1822.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Heygate, of Southend, Essex [U.K.] on 30 September 1831.¹

     Sir Frederick William Heygate, 2nd Bt. was born on 4 September 1822.² He was the son of Sir William Heygate, 1st Bt. and Isabella Mackmurdo.^1,3 He married Marianne Gage, daughter of Conolly Gage, on 26 August 1851.² He died on 14 November 1894 at age 72.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Heygate, of Southend, Essex [U.K., 1831] on 28 August 1844.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Londonderry between 1859 and 1874.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)²

     John Alexander was born in 1836.¹ He was the son of John Alexander and Margaret Maxwell.¹ He died unmarried.¹
     He lived at Newtownlimavady, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹

     Anna Alexander was the daughter of John Alexander and Margaret Maxwell.¹ She married Alfred John Stanton, son of William Henry Stanton, on 4 June 1857.¹ She died on 14 October 1858.¹
     From 4 June 1857, her married name became Stanton.¹

     Alfred John Stanton was the son of William Henry Stanton.¹ He married, secondly, Anna Alexander, daughter of John Alexander and Margaret Maxwell, on 4 June 1857.¹ He died on 11 December 1906.¹

     From 1850, her married name became Ritter.¹ She and Edward Frederick Christian von Ritter emigrated to Australia^G.²
